Saxophonist and Composer Jon Armstrong presents Gathering at the Juniper Grove, an eclectic chamber folk jazz octet based in Los Angeles. The ensemble an imagined post-apocalyptic folk band made up of community players on any available instruments. Each composition, based on Erin Armstrong's poetry, depict the celebrations, mournings, and stories for this imagined community.
